A note on deformations of bundles on the projective line

چکیده
We determine in an elementary fashion the dimension of the space of innni-tesimal deformations of an arbitrary vector bundle on the complex projective line, showing its dependence on the precise form of the decomposition of the bundle under consideration.

Rings of Singularities
This paper is a slightly revised version of an introduction into singularity theory corresponding to a series of lectures given at the ``Advanced School and Conference on homological and geometrical methods in representation theory'' at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Miramare - Trieste, Italy, 11-29 January 2010. We show how to associate to a triple of posit...
متن کامل$PI$-extending modules via nontrivial complex bundles and Abelian endomorphism rings
A module is said to be $PI$-extending provided that every projection invariant submodule is essential in a direct summand of the module. In this paper, we focus on direct summands and indecomposable decompositions of $PI$-extending modules. To this end, we provide several counter examples including the tangent bundles of complex spheres of dimensions bigger than or equal to 5 and certain hyper ...
متن کاملCanonical singular hermitian metrics on relative canonical bundles
We introduce a new class of canonical AZD’s (called the supercanonical AZD’s) on the canonical bundles of smooth projective varieties with pseudoeffective canonical classes. We study the variation of the supercanonical AZD ĥcan under projective deformations and give a new proof of the invariance of plurigenera. This paper is a continuation of [Ts5]. متن کاملMinimal Rational Curves in Moduli Spaces of Stable Bundles
Let C be a smooth projective curve of genus g ≥ 2 and L be a line bundle on C of degree d. Assume that r ≥ 2 is an integer coprime with d. Let M := UC(r,L) be the moduli space of stable vector bundles on C of rank r and with the fixed determinant L. It is well-known that M is a smooth projective Fano variety with Picard number 1. For any projective curve in M , we can define its degree with res...
متن کاملOn Deformation of Elliptic Quantum Planes
Elliptic Quantum Planes means here non-commutative deformations of the complex projective plane P(C). We consider deformations in the realm of non-commutative (complex) algebraic geometry. As we recall in the first section, elliptic modulus parameter enters into the game. Hence the adjective “elliptic” is used. Note also that, in that world, the complex projective line P(C), namely the Riemann ...
